Canada 团聚移民 question, help!!!

I am a landed Canada PR. Do I have to have a job to meet the sponsorship requirement before I can start the the family class application? I plan to seattle down in Canada in a few month, and have not found a job there yet. I am worried about the sponsorship qualification issues.
