1. first try all administrative remedy, such as write to first lady, senator, congressman, inquire USCIS, infopass, keep all receipt

2. if all those lead to nowhere, then don't be hesitated to suit them. many long pending cases were solved via lawsuit-WOM (writ of mandamus), lots of article for name check related issues 这里

3. so far, the champ for name check pending case was 8 years and 4 month (from Northern District of CA)

and second place is 7 yrs, from Eastern District of PA
