Senator:FBI name check completed, but Infopass: Pending

My Name check is pending since August, 2005. I got a letter from a Senator (I asked her help July, 2007) saying the FBI told her office that my name check was completed on November 25, 2007. But When I gent to Infopass to check the status of my I-485, I was told that my namecheck is still pending in the system. I waited for 3 hours and that was all I got. There seems to be a mis-interaction between FBI and USCIS. But the officer refused to do anything except for telling me that. Does any one have the same experience and how can I solve this problem. Thanks for your help in advance.
