get reference letters from real "experts

For this question, you may want to get about two reference letters from some real "experts" in your field to explain that your work is in U.S. national interest, and also describe your achievement and contributions in your field.

It is also better that these experts are "independent", which means that they are not from your current company or university. They should also mention in their reference letters that your current work/project is in an area of substantial intrinsic merit, and your work/research is national in scope.
