加拿大移民2nd letter 疑问

诚心请教知情者

4月底收到 2nd letter. 需要submit additional documents. The letter said : You must submit the documents indicated on the enclosed “Documents List” within 90 days from the date of this letter. Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application.
我的问题是：
2nd letter 的日期是4/05/2004 and was mailed out on 04/20/2004. 按90天的期限应是07/04/2004。而 our FBI policy certificate 还未收到。请问有谁有过类似情况吗？是否真的会有什么麻烦？是否可先写信解释一下？
