大侠请给建议！很急！

My NIW 140 was approved last Dec. 485 was submitted last Aug and is pending now.

Because of family reason, I told my boss that I would quit my job next month.
My question is how long I can stay as AOS without having effect on my 485? Can I stay at home for 1 year? If I get 485 RFE, and I find a postdoc position immediately, would that be ok? Please help me!
