if your PD is current, then file WOM. With your name check clear for sure (without letter to prove, sometime there is miscommunication between FBI and USCIS, see one example 这里 ), it will be easy case since they can no long use "national security" for excuse. It just cost your a few hundred (same a one time EAD or AP) if file as Pro Se. Most likely AUSA will push USCIS to adjudicate your case without fight back. see article for wom here
