J1 waive through IGA: self-pre

I self-prepared my J-1 waive through IGA (an interested america goverment agency), and then EB1-OR (which, as a lawer told me, would cost me totally 10K if I asked them to take care of for me).

I wanted to share my information/experience with those who are currently process their visa issues (J1-waive and Green card application).

I'm not a law-relavent professional: what that means my knoledge is strickly limited in what I was experienced.
(J1 waive and then EB1-OR)

Since when I was waiting my GC, I had the same concerns as some of you concern now (e.g what is the public charge and how the effect could be if one had traffic/fishing license penlty tickets, even a crimal record, and so on).
