485interview 后可以拿到临时绿卡？

EB2, 140/485 transferred to Local office in Sept, got interview notice today. The lawyer asked us to gather all the supporting documents and said it is almost the final. After the interview, if the immigration officer approves it, they will stamp on our passports and give us Temp Green Card?

My question is: How do I know it is too good too soon to be true ( we just filed 485 in July 2007 and our PD is Feb 2007)? What is this Temp Green Card?
