H1B申请

前年拿了个master in statistics, 现在找到一份工作,2月去上班,但估计5月份拿不到PHD学位,问我可以拿两年前的master学位去申请2万的H1B吗?谢谢!
(注:PHD和工作都是在statistics方面的).
