请教小白兔及各位大侠一个485PD carry on的问题

请教小白兔及各位大侠一个问题，我想应该有普遍性的问题。
我现在是EB2 140 APPROVED, 485 PENDING。以现在的形式看闹不好再等个两三年也不奇怪。我不想等了，想换到一个不同领域的工作去。两种选择。
1。直接跳到不同领域的工作，重新办EB2 PERM,140,485
2.QUIT现有工作，全时上学(一年)，然后重新找工作，重新办EB2 PERM,140,485。
请问这两种情况下，我可以CARRY ON我现有的485 PD吗?如果可以的话如何操作呢?
