小白兔，pjiang等高手，请教AP/H1的问题

I am planning to use AP back to US, however, my company just being bought by another company, my H1b first three year will expire on Nov, 2008. My question is if I use AP, does my H1b will impact since i will be work at another company, but the position should be same. thanks,
