气死我..这也太不讲道理了..

我寄出了我的EAD RENEW 申请的第二天就发现绿卡批了...然后我赶紧打电话通知银行止付我的申请费,又在二三天之内寄去了一封written request to withdrawl my application 并且解释清楚了原因....结果我还是收到了移民局的EAD APPLICATION 的receipt notice,紧接着不久就收到了invoice.

照invoice上的号码打了电话,他们说我的帐号状态已经为liability, 为了防止以后accumulated collection amount plus interest, 我应当先付了款,然后再打电话给file application 的center request refund. 我想那好吧,我就照做了...

结果打电话给了texas service center, 他门说application fee 是non refundable的.

所生气的是我理解一般那到receipt notice后再withdrawl application /request refund of application fee 那是不行,但我的情况是寄出申请后二三天我马上写了written request to withdrawl application.
