Just worried a little bit too much, then explain him that - 回复：I

1) if he loses job, and could not get a same/similar job when his I-485 is adjudicated, plus USCIS finds out his unemployment, only then his I-485 will be denied

2) in above situation, he may choose to appeal within 30 days of denial. During the period his appeal is pending, you may still use AP to come back.
