请教租车短登加拿大的问题

请教有经验人士：我打算在美国租车短登及拿大，但需要租one-way 还是在美国还车？如果不是one-way，怎样说才能让入境官员相信我这次登陆是准备在加拿大长期居住的？谢谢！
