Urgent: Will a contract-to-permanent position be an issue under

PLEASE HELP .. I have to change my job using AC21 since my current employer who has sponsored my GC is financially very unstable now. My I-485 application has been filed more than 180 days, and of course, I'll be using EAD for my new job.

Now the thing is that my new job I am thinking about to take is a contract-to-permanent position. Other than that, the new job deion and title are very similer to my current ones, and the salary will meet the required prevailing wage. Basically, I will work as a full-time contractor on 1099 instead of W-2 in the first 3 months, after that then I will become a permanent employer. The chance for me to receive some RFE for proving my employment from USCIS during the initial 3 months is almost zero since my name check has not been done yet.

I read from some forums that a new job under AC21 portability must be a permanent position. Is this really true? In my special situation, will my new job be an issue?
