Pjiang, I found that you list the following in your article,
"闲话 AP (I-131) 和 EAD (I-765)".

清单如下：
1. I-131
2. Copy of Passport, or Driver License
3. I-797 Approval Notice copy (境内改身份), or I-94 font and back copy (未境内改身份)
4. I-485 Receipt Notice copy (无收据则附一信亦可)
5. Two 2" x 2" photos (name & A# on back in pencil)
6. Check, money $305.

My questions are:
1. Are item 2 and 3 the same meterial? Because we ted I-485 in July, we are going to apply for AP right now.
- 同时申请 AP 和 EAD，尤与 I-485 同递时，材料颇有重复，请勿图省，依申请分别附全材料。

And I found the name of I-797 is REceipt of 485.
- All approval notice/receipt notice are I-797

2. For item 6, may I personal check instead of money order?
- fine

3. Does applying AP effect the time to process the appoving of I-485?
- no

3. Is there any other material need for applying for AP?
