究竟属于什么身份? XBT, JPiang 等大侠?

我儿子正在填大学申请,现在的Immigration Status 是: I-140 approved,I-485 Pending, 持有EAD和SSN, former H-4 Visa expired a few days ago without extended.在身份问题上不知选什么好,可选项只有: US Citizen,US Permanent resident,and Non-immigration Visa (Visa Type including: H-4 等, 但没有所谓的AOS: Adjustment of Status), 究竟应该选什么呢? 选H-4, 但已过期;选Permanent Resident,但还没有真正拿到;可又没有EAD或AOS选项. 急切请教各位了,尤其是XiaoBaiTu,JPiang等大侠了.
