请教加拿大移民的问题

H1B in California,　虽然Laber Certificate在Pending, 但GC的希望很小。打算申请CANADA，查了一下　www.cic.gc.ca 上的要求，有些地方不太明白：
1. What is "Official documentation of work experience in English"
2. In the proof of working experience, is the "notarized employment contracts from present and past employers" mandatory ? 向 past employer 找contract很困难,是不是只要有 reference letter 就可以了呢？
