which job is better for H1?

one job in university as a assistant specialist III, 41K per year,starting next month (November), the other is a job in a large pharmaceutical company with a salary of 58K, starting next year.
My OPT will expire in April next year.
Which one should I take? Is it true that it's easier to get H1 in school? And is it too late to apply H1 next year for me?
