A doubt about the new Green Card

I got the welcome notice on Saturday and then got the card today. It is really quick. But I have a doubt about the one information in the card.

It says "resident since 11/05/05". Does it mean that my case has already been approved on 11/05/2005, but just waiting for the result of background check?

I submitted I-485 application on 01/18/2005. It seems that the card was made on 11/05/2007. Does anyone have an idea?
