N400填错，面试时怎么办？

各位专家，

我不知道carpool在加州算违法，所以在填N400时：
D. Good Moral Character
..
16. 写了carpool ticket和付罚金即:

'Yes'

17. Have you ever been charged with committing any crime or offense?

我写了'No'。

因为要面试go over N400时想到这个问题，同DMV证实carpool是crime.
那我面试时装做不懂还是坦承自己犯了错误?
会不会因此不被批准入籍？
