1) 你能申请到 ESV 仅仅是去取签证？
Yes. But the time they assigned is very limited. My concern: Before I can go to EU for my US visa (if they really need a couple of months), my newly applied ESV will expire. 我申请的ESV是基于在EU的美国使馆最初说的最多5个星期.所以我要了3个星期.(因为2个多星期已经过去了.)
2) 考虑过在北京签 H-1？
Yes, but the company attorney does not allow me to do that.

You don't really have to take a trip just to fetch your visa.

Your attorney is a person full of imagination, and hopefully your expenses incur are covered.
