similar situ: ...但I94上有个一年的日期

I have just filed my H-1B extension for another 3 years. My current expires in Nov 2004. But I have got my I-140 approved early last year and got my EAD and AP. I plan to go back to China this Fall and use AP to come back.

The question is: Can I still keep my H-1B after AP is used. Lawyers and friends give different answers.
What do you say ? or just a stamp on your AP saying AOS+your current AP expiration date?
