You might check whether you can go to have it done right now. The sooner the better. I heard that was ok.
If you can't, then better to schedule it 4 weeks after your wife's due date. It is 2 weeks buffer for the baby to come (baby has to come by then), 2 weeks at least for your wife to get rest.
