EAD or H1B tranfer? Please help!

My status: Employer sponsered EB2, 485 Pending due to name check since August 2005. I have EAD but is working for current employer under H1B, which is valid for the next 2 years. I have filed WOM (PRO SE) this month in Southen District of New York.

I'll start to work for the new employer 2 weeks from now. Shall I ask them to file H1B extension or using my EAD? Thanks for everyone's advice.
