ask again. please help

HI, I just got greencard without any approval notice. What I should do? I heard there is register after I 485 got approval and ADIT. what is that? Also, I plan to go aboard in November (alreay book the ticket at the end of October), can I use my green card instead of AP? Thank you for your information.
