xiao bai tu , wom lawsuit update for my case

our NC pend for 2 and half years , we did wom in Feb , just got letter from Judge , court date is Nov 5 2007. just called USCIS about my case , they said that they can not do anything before the Judge making decision , what that mean , do you think we need hire a lawyer , what is the chance to win , we live in Arizona , only three lawsuit made in our state , None has result .
