the difference between total tax amount and your W2, usually s/he should RFE you or ask your sponsor to explain it. Second, even though you said you didn't hide anything, the VO will consider you as a parttime self-employee, then the question is that VO might think legal or illegal depending on how s/he looks at this special situation. Third, I believe you currently are holding H1 visa, so is H1 qualified for self-employment? You make your own judgement.
