just back from infopass about two A number

We got two A number, one from I485 based on pending NIW, another from approved EB1a. The officer is very nice. She said she will request the NSC center to combine these two A numbers (actually she sent an email to NSC officer immediately). I would like to know if anyone have the same experience. How can I know if they successfully combine these cases, and how long we have to wait for the results. Thank you.
