有一个问题要请教小白兔 !!!

My I-140 was approved in 2005. However I found it was updated on Oct 1st, 2007. But no any new information. What that means ?

Today, I went to my local USCIS office, and the officer told me that my name check is still pending.

I don't understand why the USCIS only touch my approved I-140, but there is no any update on my pending I-485. Do they normally look the I-140 again before they process the I-485 ?
