interlink or refile 485?

My EB1A was approved recently in TSC.
In July 2007, I also filed a NIW 140 to TSC.
I submitted I485 with EAD+AP for myself and my wife to NSC, linked to the pending NIW in August 2007.
I have received receipt notice for all 485, EAD and AP.
I did not fill in A# in the 485 applications.
My 485 receipt has the same A# as the approval notice of my EB1A 140.
But, the priority date is empty and section is UNKNOWN.

My questions is which approach will likely be faster?
interlink or refile?

If I decide to file another 485, should I send a letter to NSC to withdraw 485+EAD+AP for both myself and my wife first? Do I need to receive their response to file another 485?
