Xiaobaitu, Expired I-94, please help

My I-485 has been pending since 2005. I am using EAD now. I plan to go back to China. I know I need to return the latest I-94. The thing is that I-94 already expired with the expiration of H-1B in 2006. You think that will be a problem when I come back? It won't be considered overstay, right?
