US GC Approved, Do I still need Maple Card?-Discussion

My GC (USA) was approved one week ago. (Posted here last week).
I did apply for Canadian Maple Card in 2005 and got approval last month. Next step is to stamp my passport and do the landing process.

1. Shall I continue the process and go landing? Any benifits for being a Maple Card Holder?

2. If I stop here, can I get our landing fee refounded?

I am struggling to decide whether to get the Maple card or just stop here. Welcome all suggestions and comments.
