As a general rule, after filing your applications for adjustment of status, immigration service regulations do not allow for you or your family members to leave and return to the United States unless/until you have received an advance parole.
There is an exception to this rule for certain individuals in H or L status. An individual in valid H or L status may travel before receipt of the advance parole if he or she has a valid H or L visa and is in possession of the original I-797 Receipt Notice for the application for adjustment of status
我觉得不完全正确,尤其对H或L身份的,内详
