- To make you understand, let's forget about 6 yr issue first.
Suppose you're in 2nd yr of H-1, which started on 2005/10 and expires on 2008/9. Now you applied for a second H-1 for a univ this month, and approved. Your 2nd H-1 will expire on 2010/9.

谢。但还是不太明白。比方说，我的full time h1b于2008年底满六年，如果现在申请part time h1b，我觉得它的expiration date应该就是2008年底（和full time h1b一致）。
