AOS 是什么? 何时开始? 可以/不可以做什么?

EB3. I140 pending 后递I485 (7月递, receipt). AOS 了吗? 还是AP或EAD 用了后才开始AOS? AOS 是否就作废了H1B?
AOS 有什么好处? 是否应尽早激活? AOS 其间什么可以做, 什么不可以做?
