HELP!!! 485 DOCUMENTS LOST

Hi experts,

My 485 documents were mailed out by my lawyer on June 29. Later I asked his assistant several times that if they got mailing receipt from FedEx and the answer was yes. However, until now I haven't received the receipt notice from USCIS. I felt something wrong with my case, so I called my lawyer's office again today and asked for the FedEx tracking number. The package is STILL IN TRANSIT. Ridiculous! According to the online record, the package was dropped on June 29 at 12:30 PM. The servive is supposed to be overnight.

My question is if my pacage is lost, do I need to wait for the next visa bulletin publishment for the priority date? Am I subject to Priority Date?
What can I do to make up?

So frustrated!
