1. check if your wife's passport is valid within half year...in that case, you have to file I539 to extend H4.

2. if your wife passport is valid more than half year.

是直接去Deferred Inspections office，别考虑那个port of entry.找不着，进链接：http://www.customs.gov/xp/cgov/toolbox/contacts/deferred_inspection/

一般是在机场附近。机场附近的Deferred Inspections office有权更改I-94, it should be same expiration date as H1. IMMIGRATION　OFFICER也更我们讲，是由于入境的移民关没经验不懂这些，造成错误。

3. if the officer could not change it, then again file I-539 for H4 extention.

don't worry about your I-485. once your wife is filed
485, she is legal for AOS...
