In my case, my son got FP notice on Jun. 2007 for the second I-485 eventhough our family had FP on May 2007 for the first I-485.

So I called NSC, and they replied that they were about to issue the FP notice when they noticed the May 2007 FP. I asked them to send a FP for the second I-485, and they said OK.
