中国旅行证 is not a Chinese Visa, it is not a stker on passport but looks like a passport and it can be temperary considered as a chinese passport for chinese -blood child who was born in a foreign country.As a child who was born in US and we, her parent are neither US citizen , nor permenent resident, my daughter does not need a Visa but 中国旅行证 to enter and stay in China even she has US passport.
