Why Have Not I received My I-485 Receipt?

Some (maybe a lot) people have been worried about the fate of their I-485 petitions, which were delivered as early as July 2nd to NSC. With more and more people came to share their information on I-485 receipt, the rest people are becoming more and more ...

It seems to me that most receipts were issued by NSC, with a few by TSC or CSC.

Since majority I-485 were mailed to NSC, it looks like there are too many I-485 to be handled by NSC, and thus some petitions are transferred to TSC, CSC, maybe we could add VSC at a late time.

Under above assumption, if your jurisdiction is not subject to NSC, and your I-485 is delayed, it may be result from being transferred to TSC.

According to USCIS, the receipting date for I-485, as of 8/31, is
NSC I-485 Employment Based 7/26/2007
TSC I-485 Employment Based 6/30/2007

You guys out there need to do nothing but to have a little bit more patience.
