No one has raised this question about H1/AP

Two Facts:

1. When you leave the country, you surrender your H1 I-94 card;
2. When you reenter the country using AP, you would need a new I-94 card.

Now: two questions:

1. On the new I-94, what category would you be put? H1, Parolee?

2. If parolee, what's the validity date like? Is it duration of status?
