Actually many big multinational companies don't sponsor.

Most of them are Europe-based global 500 companies. Usually they won't even sponsor administratively with paperwork, let alone pay the application cost and attorney fee. It's just their policy not to trouble with US immigration law.
Of course, there are always exceptions. They would sponsor someone with proven track record on case by case bases.
