Follow up questions on AP

Hi, I have some follow up questions on using AP:

I am currently on H-1b. The expiration date of I-94 is the expiration date of H-1b.

If I use AP to travel, what date do I get for the new I-94? My understanding is that it is only for 1 year.

If I remain working in the same company when I come back, am I on dual status as H-1b/AOS? And what do I do to extend my AOS I-94 beyond 1 year?
