Hand in I-94 to canadaian offi

I plan to get H1b in canada. I still have old F-1 I94 in my passport. Do I have to hand in the I-94 when I left US? If so, which one? and to whom?I read the card, it said if you go to canada, you should hand it to Canadian Officials?
