请问我该怎么办?

本人以J-1身份来美, 用了近五年时间才在读书其间办掉豁免. 年底博士即将毕业. 好不容易在NIH找到一份喜欢的博士后项目,却被告知只能给J-1签证.因为是规定,老板也无能为力.请问我该怎么办? OPT 只有一年. 如果一过去就申请NIW 和EAD, 请问一年之内, EAD能下来吗？多谢！
