thank you! the real problem was that I couldn't move the pasted

all selection and editing choices are inactive (gray)

I've done editing using other softwares and have already printed it out successfully. But it bugs me if I didn't figure out what went wrong.

btw: should it be ctrl^V for paste and ctrl^P for printing on PC?
