visa stamp

Last month I applied H1 B visa in USA Embassy in Europe and was told that I need to wait 6- 8 weeks or more to get visa. There is a stamp titled “ received application on March 22“ on the last page of my passport. Now some one told me this stamp is meant your visa is rejected. But I really don’t believe it because visa officer told me clearly what I need is just to wait. Also, he kept all my application document.

I am very worried about it. Can one help me to clarify it?
