申请公民通过面试后，要等多久才宣誓？

我刚刚通过公民考试，通常要等多久才能去宣誓？如果通过面试，是否就意味着通过了，还是说要经过背景调查（name check)才能通过？不明白这背景调查到底是在面试前还是面试后？请指教！先谢谢了！
